Although all systems and printer set-ups are slightly different, here is an example of how to successfully print your PDF patterns.
- Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat on your computer. You can download it here from the Adobe website.
- After you have downloaded your pattern, open it in Acrobat.
- Follow the print dialogue boxes to print.
- Important! Actual Size printing must be selected. You can choose to print on paper size 8.5 x 11 in the US or A4 in the EU.
- Before printing all of the entire pages, print out just the first page to check for proper scale. You will find a 4″x4″ inch square on the first page. If the square measures correctly you can print the rest of the pages.
Assembling Your Pattern
- When the patterns are prepared they are layed out in a grid formation. Each page is labeled with the rows and column so you can put the pages together in the proper order.
- Cut the paper borders and tape pattern pages together. It is important to match the x’s on the corners to get the proper shape and size.
As a member, when you purchase a PDF pattern from Sew Art Patterns, your new pattern will be stored in your download library, where you can download as many times as you need.
As a non-member you’ll have to download your purchased pattern within 7 days and your purchase history will not be retained on our server for later download.
